Persephone Graduated Orchid Trio Necklace

Persephone, Goddess of Spring and Nature, and Queen of the Underworld. As the Goddess of Spring, Persephone is associated with growth, fertility, and love. Her beauty caught the eye of Hades, who abducted her and she became the Queen of the Underworld. After this she split her time between the surface and the land of the death which created the seasons. Persephone embodies resilience, beauty, strength, and creation.

Each orchid is hand fabricated, with each set of petals being pierced from sheet silver, formed and soldered, and then linked into this beautiful trio. The trio shows Persephones' descent to the Underworld but also her overriding love of nature and the surface, with the larger orchids representing how she spent the majority of her time on the surface even after she became Hades wife.
